Synopsis:

Janie thought she knew what her future held. And she thought she’d made her peace with it. But she can’t handle dragging Cabel down with her. She knows he will stay with her, despite what she sees in his dreams. He’s amazing. And she’s a train wreck. Janie sees only one way to give him the life he deserves—she has to disappear. And it’s going to kill them both.

Then a stranger enters her life--and everything unravels. The future Janie once faced now has an ominous twist, and her choices are more dire than she’d ever thought possible. She alone must decide between the lesser of two evils. And time is running out....

My rating: ★★★★☆

Through out the book, this is what was on my mind most of the time: WHAT DESCISION IS SHE TALKING ABOUT?! AHHHHHHH! That and: WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU THINKING?!?!?!? YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE CABEL? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?
*Takes deep breath*

Yeah, this book basically had me on edge most of the time. I mean, Janie's father finally appeared... uh, half dead in the hospital, but he still appeared. And that damned decision involving her power: either to isolate herself to keep the dreams away, or use her power and risk ending up like Miss Stubin- blind at age 20 and loss of hand function by her mid 30s.

Isolating herself sounds better then being crippled before reaching age 40. And Janie really thinks thats the way to go. At one point I thought she was being a little selfish. But Cabel will have to deal with alot in the future if he's stay with her. He is very supportive and would do anything for Janie, which is why I was almost ripping my hair out at the thought of Janie leaving Cabel and isolating herself.
Now that I finished the book, I am at peace :P lol

I loved the ending! I thought it was very satisfactory. And I want to thank the author for Cabel, another character I can crush on ;) lol

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)
